Seven Studios Terms of Service & Podcast Studio Client/Guest Agreement
1. Introduction
Welcome to Seven Studios, a creative hub located in the heart of Doncaster City Centre. By using our services or facilities, including podcast recording or content creation, you agree to the following terms. This agreement ensures a professional and smooth experience for all users.
2. Services
Seven Studios offers a variety of services to meet the needs of modern creators, including:
- Podcast recording (studio and equipment)
- Photography & video production
- Post Production & Publishing
- Media Management

3. Booking and Payment
To secure a space or service:
- Online Booking: Book via our website or contact us directly for a payment link.
- Full Payment: Full payment is required to confirm your booking.

Cancellation Policy:
- 24 hours or more before: Full refund.
- Less than 24 hours before: No refund.
- For special bookings, please contact us at hello@sevenstudios.co.uk.
4. Confirmation and Cancellation
- A confirmed booking is only valid once full payment is made.

Cancellation requests must be emailed to hello@sevenstudios.co.uk.
- More than 7 days notice: Full refund.
- 7 to 48 hours notice: 50% refund.
- Less than 48 hours notice or No-Show: No refund.
- Any cancellations are processed within 7 days of notification.
5. Studio Liability
- Podcast Quality: We will guide you through setup, but the Studio is not responsible for poor quality caused by incorrect use of equipment or failure to follow instructions.
- Studio Liability: Seven Studios is not responsible for content-related legal issues (e.g., defamation or copyright infringement) resulting from the podcast or content you produce.
- Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Seven Studios for any legal claims related to the content or actions of the Client or Guests during your session.
6. Media Rights
- Client Ownership: You retain full ownership of the podcast or content created during your session, unless otherwise specified in a separate agreement.
- Studio Rights: Seven Studios may use audio/video recordings for promotional purposes (e.g., social media, website) unless specified otherwise.
7. Guest Participation
- Consent to Record: By participating in a podcast recording, Guests consent to the use of their voice, likeness, and opinions in the final product and promotional materials.
- No Liability: Guests agree to hold Seven Studios harmless for any legal claims arising from their participation, including intellectual property or defamation issues.
8. Confidentiality (NDA)
- You and your Guests may be exposed to proprietary information of Seven Studios, including business practices and equipment details.
- Non-disclosure: You agree not to disclose or use any Confidential Information for personal or commercial gain, unless with prior written consent from the Studio.
9. Publicity
- By participating in a podcast or using our facilities, Guests consent to the use of their name, likeness, and biography for promotional purposes.
- Seven Studios agrees not to use any unlawful or defamatory representations of the Guests.
10. Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Studio Cancellations: If the Studio needs to cancel or reschedule a session (due to technical issues, health & safety concerns, or force majeure), there will be no cancellation fee. We'll work to reschedule at the earliest convenience.

Client Cancellations:
- More than 7 days notice: Full refund.
- 7 to 48 hours notice: 50% refund.
- Less than 48 hours notice or No-Show: No refund.
11. Media Storage
- Online Transfers: If requested, Seven Studios will store a backup of the files for 5 days.
- Client Memory Cards: If you bring your own media, the Studio will not keep a backup.
- Extended Backup Service: If required, Seven Studios offers a paid storage service at £100 per shoot per year.
12. Editing and Revisions
- Initial Edits: The first edit will be delivered within 5 days of the session.
- Revisions: You are entitled to one free revision round. Additional revisions will be charged at £50 per hour.
- Final Delivery: Once the edits are complete, the final version will be sent via WeTransfer.
13. Social Media Clips Package
- AI-Assisted Clips: As part of our "Social Media Clips" package, we will use AI tools to identify key segments. These clips will be reviewed and finalized by our editors.
- Client Approval: The Client must approve the clips before use, understanding that the AI process is subject to human oversight for final quality.
14. Damages
- Client Responsibility: You are financially responsible for any damages caused by negligence, misuse, or actions by yourself or your guests.
- Assessment and Payment: We will assess damage costs and send you a detailed report. You agree to reimburse Seven Studios within 30 days of receiving the report.
- Insurance: If applicable, you must inform us of any insurance coverage.
15. Punctuality and Booking Slot Terms
- Setup and Reset Time: A 15-minute setup and 15-minute reset will be included in each booking. This time is deducted from your booking duration.
- Late Arrivals & Early Departures: Late arrivals or early departures will not extend the booked time. You are responsible for being on time.
16. Respectful Conduct
- Mutual Respect: Both the Client and Seven Studios agree to maintain a respectful, professional, and courteous environment.
- Misconduct: Any disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in immediate termination of the session without refund.
17. Governing Law
- This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved under the jurisdiction of English courts.
18. Entire Agreement
- This document constitutes the entire agreement between you and Seven Studios, superseding any prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral.
